Vintage Sultanabad Ziegler carpets reflect this significant chapter in textile history, representing a successful cultural collaboration that shaped global decorative arts. Sultanabad carpets gained prominence for their spacious designs and rich yet softened coloration. When produced under the guidance of the Anglo-Swiss firm Ziegler & Co., established in the late nineteenth century, these carpets were adapted to suit European interiors while preserving the integrity of Persian craftsmanship.
