Product Details
Known as the “Iron Rugs of Persia”, the original Bidjar carpets had the strongest foundation and a unique knotting to ensure a tight and sturdy constitution. Designs were usually Herati, Mina khani or Guli Farang, all of which were highly detailed and repetitive. The recreations by The Carpet Cellar aim to preserve the intensity and beauty of these rugs by using high quality raw material and traditional weaving techniques.

Care instructions
- Vacuum periodically to keep the rug clean
- Do not soak or leave the rug sitting wet
- Blot immediately if there are any spills, and clean the spot with carbonated water and mild liquid soap
- Place furniture coasters under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening the rug
