The Bakhtiari carpets are woven by the nomadic tribes called the Bakhtiari of the rugged Zagros Mountains. Our revivals optimize the original patterns by using durable wool and luminous color tones. The compartment pattern is one of the most famous ones from this region and signifies one looking into heaven.

Bakhtiari weavers were known for their dramatic renditions of the ?Garden Compartment? motif, usually a series of square-shaped compartments, or much more rarely in a latticework of graceful, bell-shaped compartments. Our Persian revival series celebrates the distinctive Indian style which blends so seamlessly with the persian patterns and workmanship.
