Woven by the semi-nomadic Bakhtiari tribes of the Zagros Mountains and known for their strength and robust construction, these carpets often feature the distinctive Kheshti design a garden panel layout in which the field is divided into compartments filled with stylized floral, animal, or geometric motifs. Their vibrant palettes of deep pinks, indigos and mustard capture the spirit of the natural landscapes from which they draw inspiration.
