Mughal Revival Khorassan – Golden Hues

Price available on request

Khorsassan, which means the land of the rising sun in Farsi, is the largest of Iran’s provinces. The names Khorassan or Mashad are sometimes used interchangebly. Mashad is a region within Persia, however the finer woven, shorter clipped rugs from here are referred to as Khorassan.

Product Details

Our revival series celebrates the distinctive Indian style, with highly naturalistic, tropical plants and flowers and a rich palette of colors. Some of the patterns are closer in aesthetics to the original Persians, whereas others have a beautiful confluence of design, color and style. What differentiates this collection further is the use of high quality wool and distinctive workmanship which helps create handknotted masterpieces.
