Originating from the town of Nathdwara in Rajasthan, Pichwai painting were developed by the artists who lived in and around the region. Inspired by the religious stories and myths associated with Lord Krishna, various artists created scenes from Krishna’s lifetime and translated them into this spectacular art form.
