Kerman has been a popular carpet production region in Persia. Laver is a village north of Kerman and with civil strife in the early 19th century, many weavers fled to Laver and established their looms. Laver Kirman rugs possess a complexity of design and subtlety which is unique. The fluidity of design and floral motifs with inifinite detail is beyond spectacular.

Laver Kerman rugs feature extremely detailed floral patterns, unusual colors and narrow borders with elements that are striking and awe-inspiring. Their pattern language comprises of all-over patterns of botanical motifs or a central medallion encircled by dense foliage. Despite their age, these are expected to last the investor another 60-70 years.
