Price available on request

The most popular jail carpets are from Agra, Amritsar, Lahore and Jaipur. This particular piece is an antique, with a cotton pile and a wool foundation. The abrash or color gradation is commonly seen in antique rugs where natural dyes were used. As each batch of wool reacts differently with the dye, the color gradients are fairly distinct.
