Balouch rugs are woven with dark colours extracted from natural dyes and the wool used is mostly sheared from the tribes own livestock. Some of the older bilochs are very finely woven. This is a spectacular vintage Balouch, with abrash shades has a uniform and strong pile.

Description
The Balouch tribe flourished in what is now southern Iran. There is no distinct pattern or design that can be attributed to the Baluchi. This makes it harder to identify the rugs that come from this region. However, a keen eye will note the weaving technique and use of dyes that are very specific to this region.
