With a rich history ranging back to the 15th century, these carpets were widely acclaimed in Europe where they were appreciated and depicted in the paintings of many artists such as Lorenzo Lotto and Hans Holbein. The Carpet Cellar has recreated these spectacular pieces using the original Ghiordes knot and angular designs in exceptional merino wool to give it a sheen and vintage feel.
