Description

The original Bukhara rugs were usually made by nomads on horizontal transportable looms with a different weave and were generally based on the Senneh knot or more simply known as the double knot. The wool pile of the rugs is far shorter and the design is more intricate, requiring a higher density of knots. This recreation maintains the knotting technique but also adds a new dimention with the color and pattern choices.
