Museum Revival Collection – Dabeer Kashan
The distinguished rugs from Kashan are among the finest pieces made in Persia. In the heirarchy of rugs, the Dabeer Kashans ranks amongst the top few. This particular carpet – is an exquisite recreation and has been created using the finest wool and predominantly natural dyes. The intricate pattern comes across flawlessly with the high knotting.

Description
Since the Safavid dynasty, the region of Kashan was a major centre for silk production and some of the finest Persian Silk rugs were made here. Gradually, the master weavers started to create wool rugs and their expertise was well represented. Although the carpets usually take their name from the region they are produced in, some exceptional ones created by master weavers, were identified by the weavers name as well. Dabeer being amongst them.
