Description

Under the patronage of the great Mughal emperor, Akbar, carpet weaving was elevated to an art form on the Indian subcontinent. This beautiful recreation celebrates the weaving traditions of the period using apparel-grade wool and eco-friendly dyes. This particular piece has been created with a much higher knottage and has taken the weaver 14 months to create. The intricacy is visible in the pattern itself and the execution is remarkable.
