Under the patronage of the great Mughal emperor, Akbar, carpet weaving was elevated to an art form on the Indian subcontinent. Inspired by the Antique Kashan rugs, this beautiful recreation celebrates the weaving traditions of the period using apparel-grade wool and eco-friendly vegetable dyes.
