The Dabeer workshop was located in the city of Kashan in Persia. The carpets woven in this workshop were some of the finest and many were made of “kurk” wool which can be equated to modern day cashmere. Our Indo range of recreations aims to capture the rare and unique quality of the original rugs.

Description
Rumoured to be made for Shah of Iran, the Dabeer rugs persist a royal appeal. The Carpet Cellar has executed very fine quality recreations of some of the original patterns, keeping the age old weaving and dyeing techniques in mind.
