Ikat Indian Flatweave – Magic Mint
The Indo Ikat series is inspired by the skill and labour intensive process of dyeing and weaving Ikat. Such rugs are created using a resist dyeing technique for the yarn. This results in an intentional blurring and distortion inherent to the process of Ikat. Handwoven in wool, these flatweaves are alluring and have an eccentric appeal.

The creation of the Ikat pattern , though time consuming, allows craftsmen to create highly complex patterns using basic weave structures.This particular piece is woven in wool in refreshing colours. The breathability of wool allows it to be a solid companion of the floors throughout varied weather conditions.
