Description
The intentional blurring and distortion is inherent to the process of Ikat due to the dying technique used. Though time consuming, this process allows craftsmen to create highly complex patterns using basic weave structures like plain weave. This particular piece is woven in wool in refreshing colours, featuring light blue.
