Named after the famous 19th century master weaver, Hadji Jalili, the original antiques are some of the most unique rugs that helped the Tabrez town re-enter the rug market. His used of distinctive color palettes and designs which were very different from the norm, brought about a disruptive force in the carpet making industry.

Paying our obeisance to this master craftsman, The Carpet Cellar’s has recreated these pieces using high quality material and traditional weaving techniques. The result is a finely woven rug with a combination of silk and wool which are matted to create an illusion of being three-dimensional.
