Antique Tribal Quashgai – Intricate
The tribal Quashgai carpets are made by the tribal nomads bearing the same name. The designs of the Qashqai differ from those of other tribes of the Caucasus mountains in that they feature large-scale diamond patterns and complex backgrounds. The sizes of these carpets were more in the runner shapes as the nomads needed to transport their looms constantly.
