Vibrant and earthy colours have long been a feature of Shiraz rugs, as have the bold geometric designs and motifs. While they are renowned for their simplicity, the weavers from this region experimented with several motifs. Some inspired by their surroundings and others devoted to folklore and belief. All in all, the creations were intriguing and unique.
