Product Details

Kashan, located in Central Persia is well known for producing some exemplary carpets. Most carpets are named after the region or tribe that they were created in, however, one exception to this are the Mohtasham rugs. The use of the best dyes and materials resulted in carpets with an unmatched sheen, precision of design (due to the high quality wool) and greater longevity due to the knot count. A collectors favorite, these are truly remarkable pieces of art.
