Considered a ?olden era?of carpet weaving on the sub-continent was the Mughal Period when the great emperor, Akbar, nurtured all forms of arts and crafts. During this time, carpet weaving was introduced to prisons as a means of keeping the inmates busy.

Care instructions

- Place furniture coasters under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening the rug
