Some clients are wary about considering wool carpets. Most buyers believe that carpets made of wool are suitable for colder climates, but this is a myth.
Wool is a natural fibre that remains breathable in all temperatures, and when made into wool carpets, offers a luxurious, almost springy thickness underfoot. These rugs will also be strong, easy to maintain, and beautiful for years to come.
At The Carpet Cellar, wool carpets are also the sustainable choice. We use natural fibres like wool, silk and cotton, and all our carpets are created with authentic older techniques, and natural vegetable dyes or Azo-free dyes.
For those with dust allergies, do note that wool carpets are far less likely to shed than synthetic fibres, and only need a regular vacuuming or brushing to remain dust-free.
